Yamaha FZ1 Was a rough streetbike when its firstly upcoming in 2001. This is a previous version of R1 Yamaha sportbike , built by 4 cylinder 4-stroke engine 998CC, 20 valves and it can deserve 143hp. Yamaha FZ1 also known as Yamaha FZS1000s that still produced the same model until 2005, nothing changed but colors because it is the cool product ever so Yamaha manufacture think that there is no need to change but develop and stay focus with the next generation of FZ1 that is Yamaha R1.

In 2006, the second generation of FZ1 is born with the new features that can deserve 150hp in 11000RPM. With R1 Engine and All new “dress” that makes it looks more beautiful.

The source of this article, TopSpeed Said that the performance of both 2009 Yamaha FZ1 and R1 are great with the powerful  response when the Throttle pulled. In top gear when the RPM Reaches 5500, Speedometer needle points at 85mph and the gearbox also the clutch are smooth and it give some more riding satisfaction.

Rough frame and body really speaks loud, that 2009 Yamaha FZ1 is a great and strong streetfighter. But the suspensions going  to tell you, that this is the the smooth ride you’ll ever had.
